Kafka Topics
The following Kafka topics are reserved in Telicent CORE:
KNOWLEDGE
This is the topic that Smart-Cache GRAPH and Smart-Cache SEARCH read from. The purpose of the KNOWLEDGE topic is to log data that has been cleansed, linked and mapped to your ontology - i.e. high quality data suitable for linking in a knowledge graph.

ONTOLOGY
This topic is read by Smart-Cache GRAPH. It is the log of all data events around the ontology - i.e. definitions of classes and properties as well as any SHACL constraints.
The ONTOLOGY topic may also contain graphical information to support the CORE apps - e.g. the default colors, icons, shapes to use for each class. These are referred to as ontology styles.
